What's the friggin' point!

Yep, I thought it was me that Brooklyn was beefing about. Sorry about that buddy. I once had a team that won 108 games, but lost in the finals thanks to injuries to Mays and McGwire. When Reggie and Blanchard went down against Brooklyn, I figured it was deja vu all over again. How did I manage to win with Dutch Holland and Glen Myatt...?

Now 12-6 in final matchups. My teams either lose in the semis or win it all.

Its good to see that I am not alone. Maybe now I can share these stories with my therepy group and not fear tall buildings [that I may throw myself out a window] thank you all for the shared missary and Merry Christmas.

The point is to learn enough about the game that you start winning - games, playoff spots, and rings. It takes time.

I just finished w/the best record in a 24 team league at 105-57 and the playoffs start tonight - I'm not optimistic. The team I play in the opening round was 86-76. Any odds on my chances?

You are probably about 1 in 5 to win it all. After all, you have to win three series. Tough job.

Yeah, they should make it more realistic so that it can more closely mimic real baseball.

Like, for example, this year. When the Texas Rangers won the world series.

You mean the Yankees beat the Phillies for the WS.

In refreshing news, a WC with 86+ wins beat my 82-80 division winner (and negative run differential) team in ga,e 7 of the finals this morning, in my park. He did come out of the tough division, and had a great record against everyone except his division.
