Can I PLEASE request that we make this a waivers draft instead of a frenzy? Since our rosters are carved in stone, there is no advantage for a frenzy fight over free agents. And I have been in at least five such fixed-roster leagues that have been delayed for a week because the creator either forgot to set a frenzy date, or when the league was not filled by the frenzy date. As long as we fill by the standard Friday deadline, we'll be starting the next Monday. But if there's a scew-up on the frenzy date, we'll not get underway until a week later.

How long are we gonna wait for Steve?

I've been in leagues before with him and this has happened in the past. We're kinda in a NO-WIN situation here, damned if we wait and damned if we move on without him.

I understand Socalchiro, what we could do is recruit a replacement just for season 1 and when Steve get's back, he could rejoin us.. just a thought.. I want to get going as well...

I don't want to be seen as ambulance chasing....but if you're looking for a replacement manager for this season, please consider me. Kev can vouch for me (at least I hope he will); we just finished a three-season 2010 league together. If you do take me on, I'd be more than willing to take the 12th pick.

Obviously if Steve (Get Well!!) wants in, I'll jump back out.

Give it a thought. In any event, keep me in mind as a replacement manager for any upcoming seasons.
