After a draft is run there can either be waivers where you place a claim for the players you want based on a waiver order determined based on the success of your draft card. The more misses of highly ranked players the better your waivers position. Waivers is run 2 days after the draft. An unscheduled frenzy runs at midnight on the day the league fills. You will see your team for the first time at midnight and can claim any players on a first com first served basis. Since we have already determined who has the rights to each players the only movement should be to add a few players to the 25 you put on your card, to pick up players originally belonging to other franchises who weren't drafted by that franchise, or to swap nel players or other players awarded to your franchise.

A frenzy will allow us to finalize our teams without waiting 2 more days.

I do have Harry's proxies...so I would think if no one selects a nel player it should be no problem to go ahead and pick since he would in all likely hood replace Satch with another NEL player...I'm just saying...

Problem is a lot of people need NEL players. I know we all want to draft, just don't want to screw him. If Andy makes a declaration of whether Or not he plans on using Paige we can move forward. If he knows he will use him you can re pick for him. If he won't use him I can pick, or if he's not sure we can sit tight.

I may be wrong, but I think a definite frenzy time MUST be set by the league creator and the frenzy will not occur until that happens. Given the problems I've encountered in lragues like this where the rosters are basically frozen in the past, I strongly urge that we just use waivers. New leagues only start on Mondays, so as long as we fill by Friday, there's no difference between waivers and frenzy where starting times are concerned. Either way, we can use the two days to discuss trades and fill out lineups, etc. But if we blow a frenzy time, we could easily lose an extra week

Hello gentlemen!

Just got back and have reviewed the messages here; thanks so very much for your sportsmanship! About halfway to my business meeting this afternoon I remembered that Satch had a card with the Tribe "Oh s - - -!"

I'm comfortable doing whatever you think fair; I can replace that pick or just chalk it up to "ready, fire, aim!" If I can replace it, given how many folks need NeL players, I'd be happy to commit to a team not an Neler, but I'll go with whatever you think is fair to all.

Thanks Dr. Freeze for popping my proxy, also! (I certainly don't feel comfortable asking Andy to make a decision on using or not using Satch at this point.)

Speaking for myself, only (of course), I don't have a problem with whatever you do; pick another NeLer, or another team. Like I said, it's a pretty easy mistake to make. I've had to review things very carefully each time I picked, and almost made similar boo boos a couple of times. :)

As one who already has made such a mistake, I say just go ahead and make another pick of your choice--NeLer or team.
