availables, looking for mid picks

Postby qksilver69 » Sun Jan 08, 2012 2:41 pm

I have a few guys with some value that I'll deal for mid-round draft picks.

Hafner: .900 OPS vs RH, great OB, looking low 3rd/high 4th rounder

C Lewis: got hit by LHs, but will get a nice park adjustment from SOM as he had a bad home/road split due to Ballpark in Arlington (friendliest park to LH HR hitters in MLB last year). 4th rounder gets him.

Morneau - will take a low 4th or high 5th FA for him if you want to take a flyer on a comeback year

J Santana - same as Hafner, but maybe low 3rd, high 4th

Let me know if interested.

Well looks like my team will be deep again in position players but with only 2 SP's I guess I will be in the market for a few serviceable SP's to go with Bumgarner and D.Hudson(though I guess I could always use Oswalt as my #5 starter  )Now if only I could talk SOM into giving Josh Johnson a card

So anyone looking to move a SP or 2 let me know....I would be more than willing to part with draft picks.

You don't think that 60 innings for Johnson is enough to give him a card?

He should get a card. He made 9 starts, the cut off I believe is 5 and has well over 25 ip, the bare minimum, (although, that applies more to relief pitchers). Now they are very good innings, but we aren't talking about a fluke player here. Johnson has a history of being one of the top young pitchers in the game, so I suspect he'll have a card, a card with a [b:51b88dfb31]very[/b:51b88dfb31] high price tag, but a card nontheless.

With a 1.64 ERA and a .98 whip I would love for him to be carded but I fear that his stats just might be too good to have a card. But if he is carded then I will be very very happy :D .If he is carded then I like my chances to repeat quite a bit.
