Stats I'd like to be able to pull/see displayed

I am looking back on some old teams to correct some recent decline in performance.

I am attempting to use Bill James Win Shares to see about player value.
I have made it pretty far with some fudging, and am working on a workaround on player fielding to get around the massive lack of fielding data.

What would be really cool (and I know most of this is captured somewhere) would be to add all (or some) of the following stats to the team page, or a second team page where this stuff could be captured.

First: Individual fielding numbers beyond errors. Oddly, fielding percentage would take care of a lot of the problem, by allowing someone intrepid to calculate total chances. Put outs, Assists, Passed balls would be better. Double Plays turned or pivoted would be good too, as would individual outfield assists (oh wait, that would be captured in assists, wouldn't it).

For individual pitchers I'd like to see:
Wild pitches, Holds, Balks, hit batsmen (low priority since pitchers don't hit batters in strat, batters get hit by pitches), and of course, hitting performance.

For batters: Hit by pitch, sac bunt, sac hit, sac fly, gidp, and IBB.

All would be nice and I believe all of them are currently captured somewhere to produce the tables in Leaders.

Agreed. Maybe accessible via an "extended" stats tab/link.

All us "stat nerds" would love to have access to that stuff. It is all computed and available in the CDRom game, why not here?

Showing the requested extended stats should be a no brainer

Great thread. I agree wholeheartedly.

The CD ROM game already tracks most, if not all, of the requested stats, so to provide them to us should be a no brainer. Not only that, but because they are already tracked, no one will have to reinvent the wheel to make them available to us and displaying them should be relatively easy and shouldn't require a lot of extra work or reprogramming.
