Ball parks

Ball parks

Postby 1787 » Sun Jan 15, 2012 8:08 pm

while I always make the argument that the problem with our game and the crazy stats that are accumulated are due to the high salary caps, I have reconsided my stance and now blame the ball park factors. I would like to play in a league where all parks were tilted towards pitchers. I think that the HR stats would be more normal and the game would play more realistic no matter the cap.

$140M league. No parks > 10 BPH or BPHR for either RH or LH.

I will happily play in that league, since I play in small parks almost exclusively...
However- If I could bring back the 'No Ballpark Effects' Ballpark suggestion one more time, I think that would be a great twist on the set.

djmacb - Unmanned Drones led that league in [b:f2a7a21d71]runs scored[/b:f2a7a21d71] and [b:f2a7a21d71]runs allowed[/b:f2a7a21d71]?

If there's ever a team that [i:f2a7a21d71]deserved[/i:f2a7a21d71] to win, this has to be it.

I've led the league in both categories numerous times. Doesn't amount to a hill of beans in the playoffs.

just like in real life once the play offs start the records are all 0-0.

The 2004 Cards win 105 games and lose the World Series;then 2006 they win 83 games and win the series!

The play offs are to short a sampling for statistics to level out random chance/luck.
