Many SP/RP guys will not get S rating if they only have 2-3 starts, may get R3 rating only.

I haven't found any Ps who got in last year with less than 30 IP.

Whoops, I take that back - Detwiler got in with 29.2 IP.

The granting of an S rating for low start guys depends on whether they were primarily an SP or not. Detwiler was mostly an SP, so he gets an S. A guy like Aceves may not as he had a lot of IP, mostly as RP.

It's usually 200 IP's, though sometimes between 198-199 IP's might get the *.

IP can be in the low 190's. But some in the same range have no *. Starts figure into it. 32 or more generally means a *. But there are exceptions. And the reverse, a pitcher with 31 starts with a *

Go to one of your leagues and sort by IP to get a feel for it.

Thanks, Palmtana. That's not a bad card at all (No HRs and[b:ad58a86cef] low on base too[/b:ad58a86cef]). :D I'm happy to have him in both my Keeper's.

Edit: Lowish on base vs RH hitters at least.
