Okay sabermetricians, how many runs will this cost me?

Here's a link to another experimental team in the hackra's division - also high error team (not as high as hackra's), but with good pitching. Salary split is 52.25 pitching / 47.75 hitting. Playing Municipal '57.

Will strong pitching or strong hitting (hackra's team) be better with a ton of errors.

[quote:c047463a14="scorehouse"]check the thread about the 2 100 game winners playing in the finals. look at the 106 win team's roster. 3/4's everywhere?[/quote:c047463a14]

For easy reference, here is the team scorehouse mentioned.

I was willing to compromise on fielding but still have pretty decent pitching. My team was third in the league in ERA (5.06--league average 5.59) and third in earned runs allowed. That was the idea of team--try to lead in runs scored while still having better than average runs allowed. I compromised a little on fielding but tried to have better than average pitching. It seems to have worked out.

Here's an 80M team built along the same lines:

What is kooky about this league so far is that the Western teams (heavy platoon guys and reverse platoon guys) are outscoring the Central hitting teams. Weird.
