ModMark's rules state (as I read them) that we are not drafting the years,
just the player at a given position.

This would also suggest (and encourage) you to draft a player eligible
for one position and use him at another if it best built your team.
The SP/RP for the RP would be an obvious place for this, otherwise
the manager who draws the RP slot first could be at a big disadvantage.

I think I understand. If someone picks Yount-89 for their CF pick, the manager could not use Yount-82 at SS since his card for 1982 does not have CF as an option?

That's how i understand it sschu. I think the bigger issue is new cards showing up this week in the middle of the draft like if the new dickey wasn't part of the teasers and just showed up in the middle.of the catcher round.

OK gang, Pre-Draft RD 1 is set up. We have now moved to the ILC thread area. River Field View is up to pick his RFer. (I wonder who he will take? :) )
