I have never played in a 24-team league before. They take too long to fill, and I'm not too wild about the unbalanced schedule. Anyway, I have a [b:44b365a953]great[/b:44b365a953] idea for anyone else like me who wants to give a 24-team league a try.
Each team is composed of players born on the same day of the month. After 24 people to sign up, we run a random number generator for 30 to assign a day of the month to each manager, which leaves six days unassigned, plus the 31st. Players born on those dates are free agents, open to anyone. If you want one or more of the free agent players, you'll need to list him at the top of your draft card and hope for the best. At least 20 of your players must be the assigned birthday, leaving 4 or 5 free agents to fill in any holes you may have.
$80 million cap, DH, 20% drop, advanced.
I [i:44b365a953]think[/i:44b365a953] a $60 million cap is better, but $80 million will probably be more popular.
Did I say this is a [b:44b365a953]great idea?[/b:44b365a953]
