Clutch Hitter Values in pitcher's park

Can someone tell me who are some good clutch hitter values in big parks? Also, where do I find the $ sign on the card?

big ballpark clutch value

I have had good luck with Dixie Walker for 4.59 mil. he plays all OF positions [rated a 2 in all three] has over 680 PA picks up 10 units in the clutch and decent SLUG. he wont hit too many home runs but should hit 40-50 doubles over a full season. He has some speed and is *15 to steal forcing him to be held on first ,so he can bat any where in a lineup and best of all the price is right. another good value is Jo Jo Moore.

Roger Connor. One of the Lajoies. Both 9+ clutch from both sides, with doubles power.

If you believe, like a lot of folks do, that you want a bopper in a pitcher's park, Duke Snider has a 10+ clutch card out there as well.

These are higher priced.

$ is right next to the dice-roll number.

Pie Traynor has oodles of clutch and stellar fielding at 3B, though is a 15-game injury risk. Both cards are +8.

The $6.48 Sam Crawford comes with much clutch attached, +10 vs LHP, +9 vs RHP.

Value seems like a relative term to me, it depends on what the salary cap is. I've been obsessed with positive clutch hitters on the few teams I created, with limited success. But here's a roster of good clutch hitters at the $100,000,000 level and another at the $140,000,000 level. I think someone like Jose Cruz would be valuable at the $60,000,000 level.

Someone did an interesting quick study some years ago on these boards re: how often clutch is applied by batting order position. Of course, have to make many assumptions. Still, it wasn't often...I think the 6 hole was most important, 2 the least.

I think the tendency to make pitching changes/IBBs, have as much to do with clutch value, depending on the lineup.

I really wish TSN would do away with the clutch hitting aspect. It is silly when guys with 150+ RBI have negative clutch ratings. The clutch ratings in Strat-O-Matic were really designed for play with stock teams in "As Played" replays. They are not really supposed to be used in ATG or all-star draft leagues. My friends and I have never used them in draft leagues.

Forgive my ignorance, but looking at Crawford's card, I don't see as many $ totaling to the amount you list. What am I failing to consider?

For small ball:
There's a Cobb with +9/+9 (perfect Tango 5 hitter) but plays RF with no arm.

For big park: The Callison that is $6.60. Gold Glove style glove, cannon arm, and +10/+11. Bulletproof. Have had some good results in a LH bomb park. Have have some less great results in less LH Slug friendly parks. The BA/OB can get ugly. The HR power, the glove and the arm, not so much.
