ATG new cards batch #5 debuts 1/30/12

Andy,

For Bernie to supply the quick turn around on cards, like this he has to poach from the back to the 90's, 80's, 70's games etc. Unfortunately in those products defensive and running ratings have been averaged for the 5 years.

In the past when Bernie has done this for large updates, I have been able to go back into my old card records and give him the correct defensive ratings to go with the card, but right now that process is no longer happening, so defense will be off for cards poached from the mystery sets.

The alternative is for Bernie to request the card from SOM, which as I understand it takes considerably more time.

Not at all faulting bbrool or Bernie. But I simply do not understand why it would take a substantial amount of time for strato to provide a card.

This is the strangest business relationship I have ever seen. If I was that slow in responding to the needs of one or our third party partners. Do they not realize TSN is making them money and an efficient partnership is in their best interest?

How about[b:f03ed6a399] Bill Madlock, '75?[/b:f03ed6a399] The guy won four batting titles. He'd finally have a really good card. Mad dog!

Today's the day

Postby bernieh » Mon Jan 30, 2012 10:21 am

Happy Monday!

I got the prices in over the weekend and as promised, I'm plugging them in and releasing these new players the next business day - more specifically, this afternoon. Stay tuned for details!

[b:f4dd145dba]With the exception of Jorge Posada (2000).[/b:f4dd145dba] As pointed out, the fielding ratings on the teaser I posted for him were his approximated Back to the '90s ratings, and not his correct 2000 ratings. I had a brain freeze and chose him despite the fact that he wasn't one of the ones I'd looked up the correct ratings for and submitted to Bbrool for pricing.

So I'm holding him back for now and [b:f4dd145dba]will be adding him as soon as I get a new price for him[/b:f4dd145dba] reflecting his correct fielding ratings. I don't have an ETA on that, but I promise he'll go in the day I get the new price. Sorry for the delay, but we should get this right.

p.s. The ratings I posted for George Bell's teaser were also wrong, but he [i:f4dd145dba]was[/i:f4dd145dba] one of the cards that I'd looked up the correct ratings for so I do have an accurate price for him. FYI the correct ratings are lf-2(-2)e13 2b-4e41 3b-4e37.
