So who does everyone like in the Super Bowl?

So who does everyone like in the Super Bowl?

If tom Brady has a great game, I think the giants win 34-31. If he doesn't have a great game, I think NY will win in a rout. I don't think the Pats have an answer for NY's Offense. And I actually think the Giants are better on both sides of the ball. At least at this point in time.

Just my 2 cents.

hmm... seems like everybody likes the Giants here... I agree that they have a better team, but i think Bellichik gets his Pats prepared better, and the Patriots take it.
Final Score,
31-24

I think the Giants running game may be the difference. The Patriots will need to take an early lead and hope for a shootout to win I think.

If the Pats get up by 10 points, they win in a rout. Manning, in spite of the recent accolades, is still only a slightly better than average QB. TD to interception rate of 29 to 16 does not make an elite QB. Trying to play catch-up, he'll toss an interception or two.

Media hype vs reality:

Hype: Giants are hotter
Reality: Patriots have won 10 in a row

Hype: Giants have the better defense
Reality: Patriots gave up less points in the regular season

Hype: Patriots secondary gave up 2nd most passing yards in the NFL
Reality: Teams HAVE to pass when they are down 15 plus points per game

Hype: Giants have the better running game
Reality: Patriots rushed for an average of slightly less than 20 yards per game more than the Giants.

Hype: Manning has been great in the postseason
Reality: Brady QB rating is 2 points higher this postseason.

Prediction: Patriots 35 Giants 17

If Gronk is not in there than the Giants will win this game. He has been the go to guy all year for Brady.

Giants 24-20

I believe that Belichik...

Will throw some different looks on both sides against NY. I see the Pats leading early. But the 2nd half, when the Giants Offense has worn down the less than avg D of N.E. in the 2nd half, Eli will take over and dominate.

The Patriots will likely keep more players back to block for Brady to hit less targets. Gronk is hobbled. I think to win, NE will have to run on passing downs and keep the Giants off balance. Again, this only works in the 1st half.

I think the Giants will win whether Tom Brady has a good day or not. Just too many weapons on Offense for a shaky NE defense. I think the Giants will win - IN A SHOOTOUT. 34-31. I actually like the Over better than the under on this one.

Great Game...

The Defenses bent but didn't break. Tough one for either team to lose. Not the shootout i expected, but definitely another great and competitive Super Bowl. The Giants will only get better. It's Eli's time now. I think they will win another one before his career is over with.

I'm glad I didn't bet the over. The Patriots had it in their hands to win it on the 2nd to last drive before the final try. The dropped passes and penalties really hurt the Pats. Brady really has nothing to prove.

But Eli has matured nicely into a Top 5 QB now and the postseason stats back it up.
