For the early rounds after that, let's stick with our regular 2-hour clock, as long as we see good progress being made. If things slow down by Tuesday or so, then we can switch to a 1-hour clock.

didn't know draft was starting early, but wont effect much since we pick so late. however was working on a deal with jfat involving a dropped player, and see someone from late drops might be interested in. any chance of completing any deals?

Yes, if you can complete deals ASAP. My guess is that players who were recently dropped will not be selected in the 1st round, so this will not confuse the draft.

By the time our "early" 1st round is completed, though, let's say that all of the typical "pre-draft" deals must be completed.

You had already dropped Nixon, so you are still at 20, pre-draft. This just means that you will not need your 10th rd pick now and JF will add an 11th rd pick.
