LA-Z-BOY’S LEAGUE XL FORMAT

We no longer have a Quick Draft since the larger player pool has made it increasingly more difficult to get everyone together for a Friday Live draft.

We will use the diamonddope site, if I can get everyone registered (if new players join). Should there be any problems, we'll revert back to our old drafting method, here on ILC. Diamonddope has been updated with Batch#2, #3, and Batch#4 of new players. Hopefully Batch #5 will be added by the time we start drafting.

We will use these revised LA-Z-BOY Rules with the draft lasting up to a eight day period. The drafting time with 6 hour clock is to accommodate the varied work schedules we have but allows for the draft to move on after 6 hours. Guys please remember the draft has its ebbs and flows and sometimes due to work schedules and computer availability there are longer breaks between picks than everyone might like. [b:8c8ab5fe14]With the 6 hour clock proxies will have to be used but should lead to a more predictable number of picks per day.[/b:8c8ab5fe14]

League will use the ATG VI Historical Version of SOM Game, Advanced, 110MM CAP, No D/H, Frenzy, and 5/10/20 drop rule.[b:8c8ab5fe14]110 MM for Season XXX only !!!!![/b:8c8ab5fe14]

We can start drafting rounds beginning Thursday 2/16/2012 on diamonddope or as soon as we are ready to draft. Our Frenzy Friday will be 2/24/2012.

We will use the randomizer to determine draft order

[b:8c8ab5fe14]Your Availability will be required (if you have not loaded your team) on Friday evening, 2/24/2012 for the team loading and Frenzy. (About a 1 to 1.5 Hour Commitment) If you are unable to make this commitment please do not join this league. Additional note team loading will start at the end of the player draft on diamonddope but Frenzy will be Friday 2/24/2012 so all can participate.[/b:8c8ab5fe14]

League Opening Day will be Monday 2/27/2012

League Draft will consist of 8 to14 slow draft rounds, again to be determine by flow of the draft. Draft will always end on an even round to be fair to all. No matter what player and stadium draft will be concluded Thursday evening 2/23/2012

Stadiums will be UNIQUE, diamonddope has been updated so we can make stadium pick there on a first come, first served basis after Round 10.

ALL TEAMS will be entered in the league by Friday, 6:00 PM ET, 2/24 /2012, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!, with Frenzy to follow (10:05 PM ET.)

All drafted players are to be put on the BOTTOM OF YOUR DRAFT LIST.

Division Assignments by Draft Positions (Round 9"A" -- Stadium Position)

EAST: 12 11 10 9

CENTRAL: 8 7 6 5

WEST: 4 3 2 1

I know every possible situations is not covered in the rules but any decisions that have to be made will be made as fairly as possible
