[quote:f328f3dc01="jflatour99"]calculating seasons 2002 & 2003... GOD I hate that 80ks $ crap (cap I meant) !

:x :x :x :x :x :x[/quote:f328f3dc01]

It's a whole different game, trying to find the right balance of talent and cost-cutting. I've just decided to leave Edgar off my roster, and it makes me want to cry. Also was fully planning to nab Ryan Franklin in round 4 or 5...back to the spreadsheet!

Not sure I understand the "can't figure" comment.

I use a spreadsheet for each year, plus a 10-year draft plan sheet showing who I have now and how they do in the future.

What's not to figure?

Agreed, it's a weird way to try to think of things.

I have 3 of the top 5 hitters after Bonds for 2002, but to keep them all active, I have to downgrade 4 other positions. Arrgggh

I don't have to bother with the sprreadsheet and all the calculations as long as I have an active team and can plug in the salaries, which Ill be able to do again once the league fills. usually when we're not trying to enter by friday's deadline, ive got my team building as we draft. ive already ordered subsequent season teams and plug them in there. spreadsheet works, but I'd rather not do all the work. right now I can't remember if dustin mohr is part of my active roster this season or not, or if I need to find some VERY cheap replacements...
