I was looking through my SOM Hall Of Fame 2010 cards and I would love to see another Buck Ewing card where he can play catcher. According to SOM he was a hell of a catcher and a great base stealer, that would be a nice addition. Thanks!

Tell Mr. Simkus to come up with a much better Pop Lloyd and Smokey Joe Williams card. Babe Ruth and Honus Wagner said Pop was the greatest baseball player they ever saw. And that includes Ty Cobb. So why do we have a 7 mil card? During a winter series in Cuba, Pop outplayed the great Ty Cobb. Cobb was so pissed off that Pop and his negroe leaguers were whopping the white all-stars that he left half way thru the barnstorming series. Pop hit over .500 in an eleven game series of games against white barnstormers. Pop needs a minimum of an 11 mil card.

Smokey Joe, outdueled Walter Johnson on more than one occasion. Many people thought Joe was the best Negro league pitcher, ever. Joe at the very least needs a 9.5 mil pitchers card, not 6.46.

If I understand right, the NeL cards are an amalgamation of different seasons for the NeL players. A 7.5m SS with a defensive rating of 1 is no chump card in this league. I use Pop Lloyd, and I am usually pleased with the results.

Stats are stats; cant make them any more than they are. I dont think anyone would say that Gibson or Charleston or Slim Jones are unfairly represented by their cards here; in my opinion the guy who created the NeL cards knew what he was doing.

As far as testimonials by HOFers for certain players, always remember that Ted Williams said Lou Brissie was one of the best pitchers he ever faced. That's right, Lou Brissie. :D

A long while back, my brother and I bought a set of 20 nameless players which we wrote over, assigned fielding, running, made faces on, name calling, ya know...the usual kid stuff. We also gave the crummiest cards to the guys we didn't like playing with. That would be fun if we could cut and paste 1 guy on a team with a nameless card. The 25th guy for 50 cents. And..NO, I am not on DRUGS!!! I run a clean game...just look at my record!! Frank Bailey can vouch for me...
