A Minute Maid in a world full of Lefties...

like most of the changes, except playing a 3 at 2b, for a guy who provides singles and OBA is not going to be a net positive in the +/- on runs.

He is going to be a 4 whenever there's a baserunner hold...can win with a 3 but it's under certain conditions and is difficult.

good luck

And this is why everyone who says build ONLY for your park is dead wrong. Off to a 3-9 start: 3-3 at home and 0-6 on the road. Yes, that is 0-6 on the road in the 3 lefty power parks in my division!!!! And beyond that, the road games aren't even close. In 12 games this year, I have been outscored 98 -61. My team has an 8.12 ERA after 12 games in a $100m league. Insanity. I don't care what any of you say - I will never fail to take into consideration my division road parks again.

I am not disputing anything you wrote here, However six road games is hardly a large enough sample. You have probably had some bad luck/rolls in the first six road games.

You will play a total of 12 road games at each of your division foes' parks and 81 games at home.

I didn't have time to read thru all of the threads.

But did notice that your best SP is Bob Lemon. He's a RH slanted to the left. He's still formidable to the right side.

I did mention u try and get some guys like this earlier in this message.

But it's still early in the season. Take a deep breath and relax...

nothing wrong with your offense--except myer at 2b is a big mistake as mentioned previously--he's costing you.

Your pitching is killing you--and I agree with socal and many of the rest of us who said reverse lefties and reverse righties...except you were insistent on hard or slanted right- righties. They are getting shelled due to the splits.

That's not a surprise.

Dude, I realize the first page of the thread is very long ago, but you were so eager not to listen to the advice that you forgot what was offered. It's all there--reverse lefties and reverse righties. Fact.

Another fact is you sound as though you are maybe 15. Nothing wrong with that, but it helps answer some questions.

A final fact is saying "all due respect" doesn't mitigate the insult following it.

Next time you post for advice and plan on ignoring it and/or arguing against it...well...Good luck.

With all due respect...based on your prior MM results...i'd say try a different park (especially since you thought your 140M team was well suited for MM)

Alright boys...relax.

I think the old adage about winning in your park should say...

"Win most of your games @ home. But also take into account what batters you will be facing @ home".

ie. It's nice to have a 3-5R RH in MM or Hilltop. But if he's going to see 75% lefties, ya better rethink the hard RH plan.

One day after you've played a bit more you'll see that what you think here is suited for MM isn't.
