Very impressive. The one time I had Cano he committed 5 errors. I'm also impressed that he hit 22 homers and 99 rbis for you playing in Griffith. He had 27 and 101 for me and that was playing in Yankee '56.

Correct, Buford was at 3rd base.
I was a little unlucky with Pagnozzi. He is a T1 and had 3 throwing errors.

Now that it's 12, it's going to be a LOT tougher. It does look, however, like most of these attempts at beating the error record turn out to be pretty successful teams.

We need the 2e0 Polanco card in ATG! Also wasn't there a 3rd baseman who went all year with no errors in the 80s?

Thought I would follow up on this. My low error team just won the title! :) It finished poorly error wise with 30 errors:

I had 5 errors out in left field, which obviously would have been better with Puhl or Downing out there with an e0, but getting 36 homers out of left field was really key to winning, especially on the road. The other high error position with 4 boots was 1st where I also went for some offense. At the 42 game point, I figured it was pretty much impossible I was going to get the error record, so put a 4 out there with a low E rating (Mize), which hurt defensively, but helped a lot on offense which I'm pretty sure contributed to my 2nd half surge. Nettles and Pagnozzi actually lucked out and finished with zero errors.

Anyway, thought others might be interested. You rarely see 5-man rotations wins the title either, AND this team played four platoons (Catcher, 1b, 3b, lf).

Plus, highlighting that 12 error team again is certainly worth the "bump".

We are playing a league to test out some concepts and one division features good fielding teams and horrendous fielding teams.

The good fielding teams are the most successful in the league.

Neither is on track for the record, but fielding in this instance is a better strategy than not fielding.
