Don't know who is doing the record keeping on the google spread sheet, but I'd make the following adjustments to the combined sheet for my squad to more accurately reflect my lineups:
Ortiz from 1b to DH
Morse from UTL to 1b
Gordon form UTL to LF
Thanks[/quote:4201db0aa8]
I'm happy to make changes the next time I take a whack at the spreadsheet, but the logic behind all of those is as follows:
Ortiz is carded as a 1B. I only list players at DH when they have no other position.
Morse and Gordon get carded as 1B and LF (if memory serves). I list any player who plays INF and OF (or CA and anything) else as UTL.
I don't always go back in and make changes on a yearly basis when players shift unless it's a prominent move. This is chiefly because I also have a life (at least that's what my wife keeps telling me).
Like I said before, I can make any changes to the positions that owners desire, but I ask for a bit of slack for my own sanity's sake. Any owner can, of course, download the spreadsheet as an Excel or CSV file and arrange their guys anyway they want at anytime.[/quote:4201db0aa8]
No problem just trying to help you guys.
From my point of view, anybody listed as a 5 at a defensive postion is a DH. Ortiz and Logan Morrison come to mind. (Hell, Ortiz would be a DH only if there wasn't interleague play)
As to the other two, I usually try to go by Primary position and/or expected positions for the upcoming season, and LF and 1b are the primary positions and/or expected positions, for Gordon and Morse respectictively, but I see your point.
If you don't want to or have time change it, that's fine. NBD Just dont want anyone to be suprised when Ortiz never puts on a glove for me this year
