I won't give him away, but if anyone has interest in B. Anderson (SP) send me a PM.

Not that i think you need to add to the list at all rosco, but both Keith law of ESPN and (as of today), Baseball America have released their top 100 prospect lists for the year.

If I get a chance, I'll review those lists and add them to the prospects already listed. Or if I get real ambitious I'll use those 2 rankings plus the 3 I've done, combine them and create a entirely new TOP 50 list before the prospect draft.

As requested by Ninersphan the prospect list has now also been updated with both Baseball America and Keith Law's (ESPN) top 100 lists.

Based on the list I've compiled, I'd have to say that Jurickson Profar is the consensus #1 pick out there for the FKKL. The only player I personally see that could knock him down to the #2 slot is Yu Darvish. Just my 2 cents but will be interesting to see what happens.

Biggest problem with Profar from my point of view, is he's blocked by a very good player at the major league level. I like to try and balance my picks between how good they are and how likely they are to get to the majors within the 2 year window most of these Strat keeper leagues operate.
Unless there is a trade in the near future, it could be way more than 2 years before Profar is playing at the MLB level given his age and the presence and age of Andrus in front of him.

Just one more thing to think about...

TOP 36 Prospects

Postby Roscodog » Tue Feb 21, 2012 9:21 pm

On the available prospects thread I have now created a top 36 list as well.
I took all the rankings of players who were listed on all 5 lists, added them together, this # was then divided by 5 to create an average of all the lists. I then re-ranked them based on this #. Players who were not on all the lists were discarded. Darvish and the others are not numbered but are still listed at the top.

I tend to agree with you Niners in the sense of getting to the ML's. That's why it would be hard to pass up on guys like Darvish and Cespedes in my mind. (as well as Alonso and Delgado if they don't get cards). That being said I would have a hard time passing up on Profar if I had the #2 or #3 pick and he was still there. (ofcourse I won't have to worry about that at 13) :(

No problem to change it, just wanted to spell out my thought pattern. I try to do changes in bulk, so I'll incorporate it into the next go around. If anyone else has requests, just list them here.[/quote:fd39e0ab3e]

One other thing, on the combined tab, you have Manny Parra listed as the player I own and as an OF. I actually own Gerrardo Parra the OF from Arizona. Manny is a swing pitcher for Milwaukee.

Thanks Niners. Must have had Manny on the mind.

I'll preface this by stating that drops are NOT due yet, so no pressure. But, drops are still outstanding from Turtle, Hawk, and Ray. Any owner may still edit their list. Looks like cards will drop in about two weeks. We'll start drafting approximately a week after.
