[quote:325b1bba25="nevdully's"]Does make one wonder how no one seems to have a problem with cards like Mazzilli/Smith scoring 193 runs and guys hitting 100+ hrs and almost 300 rbi but then they complain about the super reliever.[/quote:325b1bba25]

OK, I admit it... I have a problem with Mazzilli and Smith.

I also have a problem with the math... I think they scored 178 runs not 193, and Bonds at 282 RBI's is almost 290 more than almost 300.

Other than that... for the record: I'm all for, being all against, Smith and Mazzilli. However, I am a big fan of Smith & Wesson... and Dr. Fosters & Smith... just not Mazzilli and Smith, even if Mazzilli were a doctor, which I am thinking he probably is not... but if he were it would probably be in one of the social sciences, not medical fields... but again I am not sure.

I think Mazzilli's card is legitimate. Smith has no business in the set, unless we want to create a pinch hitting card for the '57 Dixie Howell.

Anyone have a team with a guy hitting 100+ homers, 300 RBIs, AND have super reliever with 300+ innings? Seems like having their cake and eat it too. Sure wasn't one of mine...

Sincerely,
Delivery Boy...
