OK, sorry to be silent for so long. But, I have been buried at work.

Here are some ideas to discuss:

What if we are allowed to promote prospects in leiu of having our first few drafts picks. In other words you can keep more than 20, but it will cost you pretty dearly.

Also, any player carded and valued more than 2 million must be promoted or released. This way you can't hoard a player by not promoting him.

Finally, what about an 8-round draft with the final 2 picks being on your autodraft card to determine waiver order?
