Couldn't start the sp I wanted in the playoffs last night. Site said he wasn't rested, but he was.

Not the first, second or third time this has happened..It's been a known problem for quite awhile now...No response from customer service either.

Bad, ugly, frustrating that the more things change the more they stay the same.

this happened to anyone else? What were the circumstances, since you said it happened before? i.e., ehat pitchers, when did they last pitch etc

Happened to me about a month ago...playoffs, game 5...on the road in a righty park, and couldn't start Mike Garcia, even though he hadn't pitched yet in the playoffs at all. I sent an email the day of, and did get a response that 'it happens from time to time...sorry', but not until the next day or so (i.e. too late!). Luckily I won the game if I recall...but sure would have been (more) frustrating if it had cost me the game/series!!!

It has happened numerous times. The last time it happened to me Bernie fixed it before it became a problem. So if you get his attention he should be able to fix it assuming it hasn't been outsourced to bbrool or India.

I didn't see that happen last night but the starting pitcher window has been taking a long time to load the past few days, last night the waits were really problematic.

I just checked. The load times are just as bad as last night. It's been taking about five seconds for the [b:2726b63c17]select starter[/b:2726b63c17] drop down menu to enable, and another five seconds of "loading" when you save your changes. When it's working it only takes a fraction of a second.

Bwuh. I'm sorry Nev. I'm gettin' absolutely slammed by all the things that are going on right now and I'm having a hard time handling it all. But that's no consolation to you or your team. Check your email please.

For what it's worth, everything mentioned in this thread will be fixed on the new site. No playoffs starter bug, no "loading" (all data will be pre-loaded), better site response times.

I am in a game 7 finals tonight and the other guy has Greg Maddux listed as probably starter. Any chance this bug can get applied to that team and have someone else start? :lol:
