Woo hoo!

Glad we waited for the cards though. Quite a few not where I would have thought.

Yes, he can. As an FYI if you have not done a draft here before, they can be a bit slow moving at first but generally pick up. Hopefully we have a motivated crew and can knock this out in record time. :D

Are we allowed to change our picks once we write them up?

I notice a lot of that happening in previous leagues. But can't say that I'm a fan.

I've always been willing to let someone make a change if the next pick hasn't been made, but i'm good with whatever the group wants.

How about the following scenario...

Team A selects a player in round one. By round three he changes his mind on his round one pick and dumps and replaces him with an undrafted player. All of that seems hokey-dokey except when you stop and think about what team A really did. What he did was keep his original first round player from being in the draftable pool of players until round three. Basically, any team that wanted his orignial first round pick was prevented from drafting that player for at least a couple rounds in my scenario. Is that okay to other people?

I agree that if the next pick hasn't been made then I say the pick can be changed. If the next pick has been made, then I say no changing.

Here is a scenario in which it is OK:

12:00PM - Thisisdan - Derek Jeter

Ooops

12:05 - Thisisdan - Yunel Escobar

Short time frame and NO ONE picked in the mean time. Once the next manager picks, all prior picks are set in stone. NO Questions asked. Re-picking is only allowed if the original pick was an illegal pick (ex: a non-eligible prospect picked in a prospect draft)
