AL Only Keeper League Season 3

Wow, my team is epic in its terribleness!

It's going to be tough finding 15 keepers...

I will be a seller this season...players who will probably garner the most interest include:

Carlos Quentin (even though he's in the NL in 2012)
Torii Hunter
Jesse Crain

I will simply be looking for players with upside...they do not need to be contributors from the 2011 set.

Another rule clarification -

I am assuming from the way that people are already posting their "drops" and "keepers" that we must do this FIRST, before we can do any trades?

Please clarify.

There are players on my roster that I might like to trade - but that would affect my list of "keepers" and "drops".

Hi Guys,

It looks like there are a few questions that are unclear.

1. ShakeyBoomer (I sent you an email, but I will answer here as well to help everyone else also). You don't have to keep 15 players but if you choose to keep less they will be made up with supplemental picks at the end of the draft. So that would hurt you but if you want to keep less go ahead and just remember that those makeup picks will come after everyone has drafted.

2. The number of players on a team I didn't change the rules on the main spot with the rules I guess. But after the first season we agreed to draft and keep 27 players on our rosters through out the year to help with 2 for 1 trades and the like also just in case someone forgot to get 2 cathers or the correct number of RP pitchers it would give you more ways to get it done.

3. Geoff Brookes You can post your drops and still trade someone from that list up until the time for the final draft list comes out. If not there would be the jockeying back in forth about being the last guy to list drops and having the advantage of knowing who is on the FA list. Right now I have Mark Buehrle listed as one of my drops but if someone would like to offer up a trade for him I would have to figure out someone else to drop.

Just FYI - Spider and I traded ballparks. Spider, if you want Target back, you can have it back. I'm just letting you know, because (hmm... maybe) my intention is to drop it and draft a new ballpark from the list of AL parks (available are 3 HR parks - Rangers, Rogers, and US cellular). Actually, I am still toying with the idea of keeping a singles park, even with Ortiz Bautista and Fox.

By the way, if I end up dropping Target field, it would actually solve a problem that we had from last year, where 2 people had Target field. Are all 3 of Rangers, Rogers and US cellular available to me (i.e. to draft them)?

Ruling on this, please, Page 2?

If people would like to make me offers from my drops, please let me know. I am interested in acquiring a catcher, but at this point I will probably trade for draft picks, if anyone is interested.
