Please send no players that we're selected a few rounds ago.

who can get online at 7ET tonight to make some picks. If we can get everyone on for an hour tonight we should be able to pound out a couple rounds of picks. with something like a 5 or 6 minute pick limit.

What do you guys think?

I checked a league that started last year and checked the timeframe there from the time the last pick of the first round was made and the last pick of round 10. We need to get there by 11:30 tomorrow so we are a bit ahead of their pace.....just seems slooow. My concern is that we will get worse on weekends and there tends to be more issues late in the draft when bad picks are made and interest wanes.

As for tonight, I have a first communion class with my oldest two kids and tae kwon do class for the youngest so will not be near a computer at all. I will send proxies to someone but not sure I would want to do enough to get through more than a couple of picks. Hopefully everyone will make an effort to keep us moving over the weekend and maybe we can try to be on some night next week.

From a "draft on these boards" perspective, I think it's going fairly well. Without the use of Diamond Dope, a long draft is expected. The expectations of people sitting around their computer all day just in case their pick comes up isn't real so all in all, I think everyone has done fairly well so far.

The key is that everyone has a system that accurately keeps track of picked players and can easily sort through them so they can make their next pick.

My assumption was that we are using the leashed set. Is that correct? Not sure if De Aza was drafted for his potential long term or his card this year(which is in the unleashed set) so clarification might be in order.

This was brought up briefly on my selection of Perez. There was never a topic of regular vs unleashed, just rule #2 in the initial draft post which made me think we must be using all the cards or "unleashed" version. I would like to know what the final verdict is though...if we weren't using the entire set, just confused on why we'd be able to select players w/o cards this year (i.e. M. Moore and Strasburg) This is my 1st keeper league though so just need to understand since it seems as though we have a blend of GM's experience wise in these type of leagues.
