I may be leaving a proxy or two for you tomorrow Bill, depending on where we are at. Access to a computer from 2pm to 7pm EST Monday and Wednesday is almost nil. Thanks for the offer.

With Tuesdays and Thursdays off, I could also handle a proxy or two those days.

Just so everyone knows, my procedure for handling proxies, so long as you indicate that your message is a proxy message ( either PM or E-mail) by writing PROXY in the subject line, I won't open the message until it's your pick. That way I'm not influenced, even subconsciously on my own picks.

I'll do my best to make picks this coming week (Mon-Fri) but from 10am EST until 7pm EST, I'll be busy except for a 1 hr lunch break somewhere in there. I'll try to leave proxy's when I can.

I gotta be honest, I'm amazed I can even concentrate on all this baseball stuff, given all the news surrounding my favorite football team and College Basketball ( hometown) team

I've been GLUED to the internet since the 49er/Peyton Manning thing broke 3 days ago, and I'm a HUGE Syracuse Basketball fan, so there's been a LOT on my mind of late.

Just glad things are running smoothly, ( he said as he knocks on his VERY wooden computer desk.) :D

Not from where I'm sitting, reason's for Manning NOT to sign in SF:

1. they (SF) have least available money under the cap
2. plays in the NFC, it's thought that Peyton doesn't want to have to play Eli for the right to go to a Superbowl
3. Tennesee has obvious college days connection plus his wife is from Tennesee
4. Tenn. owner Bud Adams, willing to give fromt office position after playing days, and "roumored" to possibly include piece of ownership pie.
5. Tenn Plays Indy twice a year and you can't tell me Peyton wouldn't wanna beat down his former team
6. More Familiarty with AFC defenses vs NFC defenses
7. Offensive system change

I'll be honest Rosco, I think Denver is in thrid in this race, I think it's between the Niners and Titans.

and now there is news that Alex Smith is in serious negotiations with Miami so we could have screwed the guy we bulit up last year for a guy that might not sign and be left with neither...
