Disgusted

[b:e86baff2bc]The "something going on here" could possibly have something to do with the other 3 Division members.

Suggest Bernie track the Leagues & Divisions these lowlife Kriff-type flakes are playing in RIGHT NOW -- and see if one of the Division rivals keeps popping up more than just once. I sure hope not ...

To my mind, that would be the only really, really untoward activity. Hopefully, we will find that there is NO such intersection ... just ineptitude or some such ... but if there is some disguised collusive conduct ... there be hall and hill and hull with an "e" to pay, no? 8-) [/b:e86baff2bc]

This same guy has a team in an 80 million league that I'm in. It's record is 14-49. Current roster~about 40 million.Dropped 27 players so far. Some of the players dropped include Piazza,Frank Thomas, Kiner,Sam McDowel, Edgar Martinez, Willie Wells ,John Beckwith and Thome.
I would guess as originally drafted would be decent team....but now...down the drain.
Who were the guys in his division in your league?Funny thing ,of the guys in his division in my league, two have similar names.

When I began reading this thread I was originally tilted towards defending his choice to move players. Having actually won a championship w/a team where I made 15 mid-season personnel moves, I know it's possible to improve your team by making moves.

But after seeing the rest of the posts there doesn't seem to be any real explanation for his actions.

The previous post sums up my thoughts on this thread as well. My instinct is to defend people's rights to do with their teams as they wish. But evidence seems to point toward something intentional and possibly unethical going on.

Like gfg001 I would be curious if there is any commonality in who his division mates are. I know Bernie is busy with the site rebuild but this may be worth an investigation.

I think there is no doubt that something unethical is going on.

It's one thing if it is an inexperienced player making panic moves.

It's quite another if there is a player makeing multiple moves that wouldn't make a damn bit of sense to anyone, even if they've never seen a baseball in their life.

I think Bernie definitely should look into it, and possibly give a credit back to the players in the other divisions.

The more I look at the dropped players, most are really big hitters. It is more than just giving easy wins to conference mates. Because of the 20% drop rate these guys can't be picked up by anyon else....makes them unavailable!

I'm not sure what the record is for doing this, but this team had 29 dropped players and still made the playoffs. If you check the league standings, veterans such as Frank Bailey, DonFESQ, and Dugger did not...

It was a weird league.

But the team was still worth more than 80million.it had only lost 20%, and was still a well balanced team.the other two teams mentioned are at 1/2 strength at best.

If the producers of the game felt this type of situation (so many player moves) was a problem, the 125-player limit would have been set much lower. IMHO, at least.

Than again, perhaps it should be at least a bit lower.
