[quote:bbadf1689e="Terry101"]Same here; I will contribute.
Draft question. I am up and out of time. I would like to draft Kendry Morales. I think he is a legal choice, but not on the draft list. If I can do that fine, if not I will draft Rex Brothers (RP) but I didn't want to put Brothers in there in case the Morales pick was legal. Answer?[/quote:bbadf1689e]
I drafted Morales for you- according to dan's earlier post any player with MLB experience can be drafted.
To pick a non-carded player yourself here is what you have to do:
Click on "My Profile" then scroll to bottom of the page. Enter the player's info in the "Obtain ID for pre-majors" box. Fill in all the info except for groups and salary, leave those blank. Hit submit when finished, then you should be able to draft the player when your turn is up or put him in your autodraft list. He will be listed as a# instead of s#, I think underneath the standard players but don't remember for certain.
[b:bbadf1689e]Important- when you create a non-carded player use the following format:
Morales Kendry h (or p) Level- other
If two owners spell the name differently or use different capitalization or one lists a player as a hitter and one as a pitcher stratdraft will think they are two separate players and let both of them get drafted, creating a mess.[/b:bbadf1689e]
