Mike, you've been late three times at least this draft. If anything, it should be extended another 3 hours per pick so you can make your picks on time. :lol: :lol:

A couple of nice pickups there in rounds 19 and 20. They could have a good season in 2012.

Here's the monday through friday pick counts:


Week one - 121 picks - averaged 2 rounds per day

Week two - 71 picks to date - (average right now is at 21 picks/ day) if we can rock 50 picks in the next 36 hours or so we'll be on target for consistent weeks.

We fell just 3 short of 36 on Monday so I know we can do it.

Still were not moving to poorly. 2 rounds a day is great.

Maybe Mbertolli has a point with the one hour time limit. I know the three hours tends to lull me to sleep at times.

It's been my experience that a shorter time period doesn't necessarily move faster.

It usually just means more skips, and then stop downs as people scramble to recover.

The most consistent draft I've been in was one where we set the daily times for picks. For example:

9:00 am - 9:30 am - Team 1
9:30 am - 10:00 am - Team 2
10:00 am - 10:30 am - Team3

Etc. We could get more picks in, in a day, but you run the risk of Player A not checking in until about 10 minutes before his pick. which means that you could stall for 4,5, or 6 hours, but at least you were guaranteed 2 rounds a day.

We'd check in in the morning and see when our picks were, and then do periodic checks through out the day. Clock was still off on the weekends.

I think of the course of the draft we gained about a day, so it wasn't a huge adavantage. It was just a consistently paced draft,
