I know I'm not in this league , but in response to having a watered down spring draft. I'm very happy with a set up we have in one of my leagues, where ONLY CARDED players for that year may be drafted.

Uncarded players (unless they already reside on a team) are relegated to the Prospect draft. (We also have a high prospect turnover rate - 2 years max as a prospect)

But I do agree, It's hard to look forward to the spring draft some years, when then entire pool is basically gone.

This also cuts down on some confusion over whether a player should be eligible to draft.

Thought about going that route too, but I'm all about inclusion. so I'm hoping to strike a happy medium

I'll get a draft thread and a chat thread together a bit later, but at least you can start planning a bit. 1st draft will be serpentine, and likley limited to SOM carded players only (NOT TSN Only), which mean Johan Santanna is not available, but Jacob Turner is. Or we can limit it to just TSN Unleashed carded players, which will make next years draft a little more bountiful.
