The rules state:

13) Beginning at the end of the 2002 season, the start of the next annual draft will be published prior to the end of the playoffs. The draft will begin on the published date, with a 2-hour clock for every pick (10AM - 10PM Eastern), as long as all drops are posted prior to that point.

According to the rules, we have a 2-hour clock for every pick. I would say herge is up now to pick.

That was the rule #13.

See the rule #12 : No clock on round one, there's never been clock on the first round if I remember well.

I'd say, let's wait for Terry and delete these picks for now.

Rule #12 says that for 2002 there is no first round clock. Rule #13 was for 2003 and forward.

For the original draft, there was no clock in round one. Since the league runs seamlessly from one season to the next, the managers voted 7 or 8 seasons ago to always have a 2-hour clock.

That's why I post it in caps whenever I setup a draft for the league. I'll email Tom to remind him, but yes, it was quite legitimate to continue the draft after his term expired.
