Fri. 3/30 failed live draft now moved to 11pmest, 3/31!!

My first live draft and I thought I would be entering late, switched computers, downloading flash players and unsuccessful. Does this happen often on live drafts and will it likely be fixed tonight?

we havent done a live draft in a while- its not the first time there has been an issue, but I dont know that Id say it was frequent-
But am not happy bout it-
cant imagine it will be fixed tonight- but Ive been wrong before.

I'll monitor until around midnight, and that will be it for me. I can't imagine Bernie could even make it run tonight, now, anyway. I doubt all 12 people are still hanging around.

it's one of the greatest failings here and its just mindboggling how no one has apparantly "got it." Presumably you want to attract more customers who will spend more money on your products that they perhaps haven't spent on before such as live drafts. You know that live drafts are always run in the late evenings/nights yet there is no one around to fix stuff when it goes wrong.

Seems like I remember Bernie saying there was some sort of auto alarm that alerted him when there was an issue with the site/leagues/drafts? Or maybe I am misremembering. Too bad. Was looking forward to it; would have capped off a night of decent tv viewing - Nikita, Fringe, Spartacus: Vengeance, and then the live draft. :(

I went to bed at a reasonable hour last night, and tragically the system didn't page me. I'm looking into it.

But still, I agree with Don that the Live Draft is/was a failing, and I can't wait to move on from this implementation. We'll be exploring better options as soon as we can.

I'll continue to support it the best I can, while we're still on SportingNews.com, so don't be afraid to continue to enjoy it - it [i:6586ddbe72]does[/i:6586ddbe72] work fairly reliably, despite last night.

But if you don't trust it, I'm not going to blame you. And I'm sorry for the troubles it has caused you.

Thanks, Bernie. Guys, I will still stay in the league, if you want to schedule a new draft time. I can do any time EXCEPT for 10pm, Sun-Thur. I am leaving for work at that time. Just about any other time is fine with me.
