First 2011 team- advice wanted

yeah i understand the BPHR thing. But are they really nearly 1 M apart. Or does Grilli's C0 impact things at all? IDK how a C0 is priced. I do understand the BPHR thing though. The thing that bothers me is that my team has faced MORE lefties than righties, so would it be a good idea to have my best reliever as slanted as grilli or wade?

Maybe I should drop aceves for grilli and gregerson for a lefty slanted guy at around his price. like Ondrusek

Here's the thing I worry about with Wade as your R(2)...

5.3/7 HRs is going to hurt you in a home park that is 1-11 for HRs vs lefties. Add to that he's a (2) and it becomes even worse. Because he will allow more than one HR before getting pulled...because he's a R(2). How many HRs are enough? You just said there are more lefty hitters going against you than righty. I would worry about those fast and easy runs via the HR more than a walk or single vs. Grilli.

Maybe Wade doesn't give up so many hRs as I would think. Anyone who has Wade in a hitter's Park needs to chime in here.

Personally, I think cutting Aceves and Gregerson for Grilli and a hard lefty pitcher (lopez or Rzepcynski) is better for you. And put each (Gonzalez and whomever you acquire) of those lefties to LH Specialist.

those are some of the very slanted lefties.

Ideally, IMO, you have 6 RPs for a team with your ballpark. Four righties and two lefties. Only one R(2) is what I would prefer based on performance and cap issues. And that R(2) needs to be slanted towards righties due to your Park dimensions. And not very many bphrs on a R(2) card.

But you may not have the cap space to have six RPs on your roster. At least decent ones. So a R(1) reverse right-handed RP could serve well in lieu of the ideal I suppose if you can't get six RPs. Ondrusek is a R(2). Don't like his card.
