matucz, not to be confused with john matuszek, actually has some talent, he was on my list, although probably in the 11th round. he just happens to pitch for a terrible team, with a manager likely to get fired AGAIN, by the all-star break.

The Dwarves have one more legit year in them, this one. Big offense, big bullpen as always. In 2011, everything falls apart. I don't have a single competitive SP for next season, and for the first time, zero chance of contending. So DOB is the new stat column over here.

If Matusz was a hitter, he'd be a lock for MVP. Just look at his card. I have this viscerally positive reaction to it, like I'm looking at Hack Wilson's card. But then...no...God no...it's a pitcher's card. Please look, at least to see the homers vs. lefties. I'm gonna guess his 0 error rating is due to the fact that no one hit a ball in the infield against him. Unbelievable:

but hey, he never balked, or threw a wild pitch...guess any pitch near the plate got whacked, although he did rack up a few strikeouts. gotta love the +9 hold rating too.
