the game ends on a 6-9 roll to a LH hitter (c.smith) from a.hassler .88 card which is a 9-fly(rf)B. but some how it was a single to CF.

please explain.

Winning run on third and <2 outs so the outfield plays in. Flyball B's turn into singles and SINGLEs turn into lineouts or Flyball C's. You would have lost anyway on the Flyball B.
