Does anyone know the ruling for this...

I am in the [b:b61c84e54d]play-offs[/b:b61c84e54d]...I have J[b:b61c84e54d]im Merritt set up as left hand [/b:b61c84e54d]specialist....(he has not started a game since game 13)...In [b:b61c84e54d]game two[/b:b61c84e54d] he pitches [b:b61c84e54d]two innings in relief[/b:b61c84e54d] ...I was planning on [b:b61c84e54d]starting him game 4 [/b:b61c84e54d]in opponents lefty leaning park....Hal says he [b:b61c84e54d]does not [/b:b61c84e54d]have enough rest...I can't even [b:b61c84e54d]set him for game 7[/b:b61c84e54d]...I asked for help from the service desk...but thought I thought i'd see if anyone knew [b:b61c84e54d]if this was correct[/b:b61c84e54d]

Vinnie-

I think the problem is the same glitch that I ran into.
Apparently if you dont start a guy in the 1st rd of the playoffs, sometimes HaL wont let you start him in the finals - had that happen with Garcia, when I was facing a hilltop team. :shock:

Ran in to this recently as well. Some kind of glitch. I wanted to start a pitcher who had only pitched once all season, yet was unable to start any of the playoff games due to lack of rest.

I tried resetting my rotation and inserted the pitcher into the first spot as a starter and that worked. Maybe Hal is focused on who you have listed in the starting rotation. Try clearing that, or resetting with the pitcher you want in the appropriate game.

Thanks Misterg...That's exactly what I did...I added Merritt as #1 in starting rotation...I will see if that will work...
