What does the bullpen relief setting (normal, conservative, aggressive) relate to?
At first, I took it to mean how quickly your bullpen is brought into games--if you set it as "aggressive," for example, your relievers would pitch more innings. In the manager strategy section, it even explicitly states that the "relief usage" is "how much your bullpen is called in to help."
According to a lot of the posts I've read on this, however, I get the impression that this setting refers to how quickly HAL will cycle through your relievers. For example, HAL might use 1 reliever to face 8 batters if the setting was "conservative" but would use maybe 2 or 3 pitchers for the same amount of batters if it was "aggressive."
So which of these two interpretations is correct?
