Setting a record that can never be beaten - lowest salaried P to throw a no-no.

The only reason Farmer tossed the no hitter is because Arky Vaughan is so good!

You outa send Ed a copy of the game! He is the radio play by play man for the WhiteSox.
:P

So cool a500k guy gets a no no , can never predict this game! Lot's of real life no hitters have been by guys who caught lightening in a bottle for just one game.

Ed did make an all star game once ,he was the Sox closer. Had few good years.

Looking at the lineup, it's not that far fetched. Farmer is a 9R and 8 of the opposing batters were right handed.

If my count is correct 16 rolls where on the batters cards, which does make it impressive, even though as stated above 8 batters were RH, b/c there were some decent hitters in that lineup.

Ed is GOD

I have had some good luck with him and will start him against many teams that have an unusual number of righties. He tends to have a 5 or 6 era but will get good games out of em. Did have at least 1 shut out before. And when not getting the occassional start he is my specialist. For 500k why not?

Go Eddie! I too use the man for extreme right handed lineups in 100 mil leagues or less. All the time!
