NLD 30 - Smell the glove!

BigA, I'm not happy about it either, but all the teams are in and we can't get any of them out. TSN won't help us. Do you have a suggestion?

Big A, I'm with you man. It's pretty bogus what DT is doing. As Big M states, there just isn't much we can do for NLD 30.

Actually, DT just cut him. Grab him if you want him.

Guerra was released by DT tonight

And I guess I should thank Semper for Votto. :)

if he dropped him I will pull back my protest. Not interested in Guerra, just interested in that all are playing by the rules.

While my opening day results are disappointing, I'm one inning in both games from being on the positive side of the outcome

Surprised at the SO rate but only Morse and Jones wiff at the high rate. If the walk rate stays near 12 per series, the offense might help my shallow bullpen

Nice to see the three outfield assists - keep those settings on default boys :D

He he,

Big A and I played three one runners with him getting two of the games. I think all three were determinted in the last AB. Typical NLD, tough games....

I didn't realize that besides being a solid power hitter, Mike Napoli has wheels.

Tied for the lead in stole bases with 2 so far

Of course, he has allowed 11 SBs despite the -1 and to LHSPs.

Wow, a horrible start for the Merlot the first time through the division. Lost a pair of close ones to Big A, but then wasn't all that competitive in a Couple losses to DT and Semper. The rubber games featured a blown game in the 9th and then in extras to Semp. It wasn't a BS because Lincecum gave up the runs. And a blown 4-0 lead in the 8th to DT. Ouch.

We've managed to get one win in each series, but that's not going to work.

SSS I know, but our Pen has posted some spectacularly bad numbers so far along with 1 save and 5 BS. We've actually managed to win three of the BS's (all of our wins featured a BS)

Hitting wise it's up and down as you might expect this early, but Albert and Beltran are under .200 and Gordon is barely over. Then again, Betemit, Montero and Renteria are lighting it up. Maybe I'll bat them 3-4-5 instead of the other three!

Early so I'm sure some of this will come around. Just not the way you want to start!

Speaking of bad starts I see Big M got his first wins and AT his first losses tonight. And, look at the balance in the central!

Joe

Obviously early in the season and the rolls go both ways.

What surprises me is the number of home runs in your home park. And, the RHBs are hitting against you.

I need to keep my guys out of the MASH unit.

yeah, totally Chief. VERY early.

As for injuries, you only have 2 guys with 600 PA so that'll be a concern for you. Of course, Big A has only 1 and DT NONE. DT also has only 4 guys with a 1 injury. He's hoping for good injury rolls for sure.

OTOH, Big M has six 600 PA guys including his CA. but the other three are 2 or 3 injury guys. Jeep and I come in second with five. All 9 of our starters have a 1 injury. Jeep has 8 with only Hundley lighting up the injury numbers.
