He is really ruining the integrity of these leagues.

I asked him why he is doing this, wasting 11 other managers time and money and he threatened me..."You don't know who I am! blah blah blah"

Oh well.[/quote:748ffedee9]

LOL...he threatened you? As in "I'm a big shot so you'd better watch your step buddy" type of threat?[/quote:748ffedee9]

This made me laugh, reminding me of the scene in Payback when Porter tells Bronson he'll kill Carter and Bronson says "Are you threatening me?". Porter replies "No, I'm threatening Carter".

If you liked the Mel Gibson version, you might want to go find the Lee Marvin version (Point Blank, 1967), when Porter was Walker. IMHO, a much better movie.

[quote:cb18793ca1="Valen"]By the way, I draft my fantasy baseball teams around my favorite players as well. By strange coincidence I have improved there as the Rangers have improved. Did a good job of drafting Rangers team this year. Though I have had to give up Verlander and Cano along with some lesser fillins to round out the team and get Beltre and Hamilton. Second year in a row I have had to trade Cano away.[/quote:cb18793ca1]

You should have traded him to me...

six games left and his record stands at 36-120,the wild card team will come out of his division as they feasted on him with 17 wins with three to play.

40-116 in mine, and I am the wild card, not proud of it

I'm in that 36 win league; my team has a small lead in the West, but the second place team is smartly constructed and deserves to make the playoffs. It's infuriating to watch the standings in the East and see teams rack up an easy three wins every night, while the teams in the West battle it out. I will never play in a league with that doofus again.

Speak up next year. Odds are Cano will be at top of card as a flyer followed by those I really want.

If I could figure out how to use the damn Yahoo draft ranking interface, maybe I would have got him. I HATE the ranking system. Despise it.
