OK, I'll bite.

Hi, my name is visick and I'm a Jeter hater.

He's performing like a $7-8 million dollar SS. Oh wait, he's making 2X that much.

His splits...

vs. LH's: .600 BA .600 OB 1.067 OPS
vs. RH's: .231 BA .236 OB .346 OPS

LMAO...

Stats never lie. His #'s and range go down. Yet his salary goes up.
People love the guy on what he's done. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but they refuse to look at the #'s.

The rings

Postby 1787 » Mon Apr 16, 2012 8:15 pm

Ted Williams once said if the Red Sox had Rizzuto they would have had a few championship rings on their fingers. I bring this up because Jeter is one of the key reasons the Yankees are always there, always in the playoffs, and oh yes up to 27 in the ring count. You cant underestimate the value of a player like Jeter at short stop. So all the Jeter/Yankee haters play with the numbers and twist them any way you want because the only number that counts is the number of rings on Jeters hand.

He owns the clubhouse

Postby ROBERTLATORRE » Mon Apr 16, 2012 8:22 pm

Doesn't show up in stat lines.

It's been his team for YEARS, and NOBODY is drinking beer and eating fried chicken during the game between starts in his clubhouse.

One season under his tenure with the Yankees with less than 88 wins. That amazing stat is not a lie. His lifetime win percentage in baseball makes DONFESQ look like Kriff
