How many leagues does Arky Vaughan lead in MVP race?

I just took yet another Vaughan beating in a league where he's on pace for about 70. Worse, Mathews is heading towards 116 dingers unless someone hits the normalization button.

After 250+at bats, Mathews slugging % is 1.020. Vaughan is second with a paltry .780. All this team needs is Dale Murray throwing 350 innings for 30 wins and 30 saves and we've got the new stratomatic boxcover all set.

I feel that this game is about taking what was and creating would could be. Didn't Petrosian suggest some sort of moving price scheme once? Where usage would bump up or down prices after some time? Wouldn't this sort of thing let "market forces" adjust the prices more effectively?

With 30 games left to play, Arky leads the league in OPS at 1.248, and in Batting Avg. with .403. Has has also chipped in 39 HRs and 115 RBI. Trailing right behind him in OPS is Mathews, at 1.231. He is hitting .313, and leads the league in HRs & RBI with 77 HRs and 167 RBI. Next closest to Mathews in HRs is Kiner with 66. Bonds is sitting on the FA wire, so he might have given Mathews a run for the HR title. Mathews and Vaughan's home park is Ameriquest '05; very friendly to LHHs (19 for BP HR effect).

[quote:d620c5f871="tomwistar"]I agree that you can't complain about "integrity" in a game where Gates Brown and Ken Smith can rack up full season stats. There's nothing realistic about ATG at this stage. Arky hitting 50+ homers is no more goofy than Smith drawing 130 walks against lefties.

But ... I also agree with El-Saltman that the FantaSim cards should be replaced with actual Strat cards ASAP.[/quote:d620c5f871]

Yes...Fantasim cards need to be jettisoned
