Jeter Haters

Hey, it's the brand, man.
Besides...he sucks--he is 3 for 13 on turf. I thought I would help out the ".230 against righties argument" since his line against righties now is .286/.324/.543

OK, I guess the horse is double dead from being beat so much.

Yeah Grandy...he's great...he was so average before DJ's influence

:P

......and the amazing part is not only does dj have to be a positive influence but he has to negate the ARod influence as well. Good to have a SS buffer between ARod and the rest of the team on the field.

Didn't think we were talking about Granderson, thanks for ignoring the heart of what I said, to post up a straw dog, but if you wanna talk I bet you'll be tellin' me how overpaid, and overrated [i:b12c53fdb3]he[/i:b12c53fdb3] is soon. Just a hunch.

...and weather it's the first or the last inning getting in the tying run is always a clutch move. Didn't anyone around here ever actually play this game?

with all props to Mr. Granderson for his exploits this evening. Jeez...

Surely you are bright enough to know that Campy comment was to show how you can't put to much emphasis on WS wins to evaluate how good a player is.

I think Jeter is easily top 3-4 SS of all time and I like the guy as a baseball player.

I say we stop beating a dead horse here.

I think the icing on the cake for me was clicking on ESPN.com, their MLB site. (Yesterday) They had a picture of Jeter with the headline saying how he was carrying the Yankee offense on his back. And in smaller letters, Grandyman hits 3 HR's in Yankee win.

Let's relive this thread at the end of the season. Let's see where the Yanks go at the end of the season.
