The Sims have the divisions well matched no clear winners or losers.

What the sims do show are constant names for the the player awards and RC/27 results. Despite the numbers run, the same names find their way to these lists. Rarely do I see Jemile Weeks types topping the Leader lists. :shock:

My pitching purge is a result of the sims and the actual league results. A serious problem with the ROIC on my ~$30M spend (compare to Ottawa's ~18M) :shock:

Clearly, my starters put the team in a hole even way before the 6th inning which would tax any team's bullpen.

So, I took a gamble and dumped the little used relief and spent it on Jered Weaver.

Now I will find out whether it pays to spend on relief as I have none. Of course, my relief corps' actual stats are void of many BPHRs which makes for an interesting strategy.

I'm in the midst of one of those schedule quirks where I've only played 12 home games to this point compared to 27 on the road. Hope that's a good sign for when things even up.

I really hated giving up Young but needed someone who could hit a home run every once in a while.

If I have one (and there are more) weakness in team building is that I don't like low BA guys. Of course, those are the guys that hit home runs unless you're lucky to get a Kemp type player. I should have learned by now that even in an extreme low hr parks you still need to have someone hit a bomb every once in a while.
