How does the trade between derfs and blackjack square with the rule that you can't trade a pick if you will already have a full roster breforehand? I suspect a number of you guys are going to finish soon.

Unless I missed it somewhere there is not a rule that says you can't trade your last pick. You can't trade a pick you would not be able to take if that pick was going to put you over 30. For example, if I have 29 players after round 9 I can't trade my 11th rd pick.

After the 7th rd derfs and I both have 27 players, so derfs 10th rd pick is only going to be unused because of the trade, I think the rule is meant to prohibit trades where the pick is unavailable before a trade. But if Turtle rules it invalid or anyone has a problem with it I'll cancel it, no big deal.

No, I agree (and you can see, I changed my post before you posted). I'm sure your deal is OK. It's just too damned hard to keep up with all the roster moves when we have all the skips.
