I think we need to wait on the draft, since they have said it is "likely" that player salaries will be changed for the earlier games. What we don't know is if they expect it to take a week, a month, 6 months, 2 years...

Yes, I believe the Still Crazy league needs to go on hiatus until the 2003 season is available again.

FYI: I still plan to start a new 2007-base retro keeper, after we finalize the rules changes in the Reelin' league.

As the Still Crazy After All These Years League sits on the sidelines, awaiting the return of SOM's 2003 season, the Deja Vu league is getting ready to begin.

We'll start with the earliest continuously available season, 2007, and use essentially the same rules as recently updated for the Reelin' in the Years League:
. Yes to unleashed card set, whenever available
. Yes to "standard" keeper league rules, [b:a1bd199b23]after[/b:a1bd199b23] retro seasons are completed:
..... Two seasons per card set
..... Prospect draft
..... Supplemental draft

I'm aware that some of the current Reelin' & Crazy managers do not wish to join the new league. For those who do, they will have a week to sign up for the Deja Vu League, before it is offered to new folks.

I thought the playing 2 seasons per set would only apply for the "current" set. Is the plan to play the 2007-2011 seasons twice each, in this league?

And please just to clarify, we're NOT doing that with the SCAATY league, right? Still consecutive single seasons.

I want to do this, but I'm pretty balky on 2 seasons with each set...if you've got a bad team your damned to a bad season twice, and there's no way to keep meaningful individual records.

All retro seasons in all 3 leagues will be one season per card set, as always. It's only [b:e166627685]after[/b:e166627685] the retro seasons are completed that we shift to the standard two-season-per-set style.*
