Well, there is only 1 steal round so it is going in reverse record order. After that we all name 4 more keepers.

Once that is done, we will do a DD draft for 8 more players because that seemed to be the overwhelming preference.

With the DD draft we will all proxy our 8 keepers so the first 8 roun will be done pretty much immediate tarter everyone gets theirs entered. We will then start the next 8 rounds of the draft with the 2 hours time limit turned on to keep it moving, so everyone make sure they have some proxies or will have access to a computer so they don't get skipped.

The DD draft will be a snake draft. TBd if it will go in the reverse record order already established for the steal round, or if we will get a randomizer. I can see arguments either way. And truthfully, I doubt it will make a huge difference.

Any thoughts on the DD draft order?

It might help to list the team that you stole from with your steal pick, along with deleting them from the list.

If the goal of the 8 round draft is to allow the poorer teams to try and better themselves, which I would think it would be, then a straight draft would be more appropriate - like the real baseball draft.

tried to make DD draft and populate all keepers/stadiums to help tracking who is where. learned admin does not have that kind of power!

I think a serpentine draft would move slightly quicker than a non-serpentine draft because of the double-picks at the end of each round.

As I'm in the #2 spot, I would theoretically benefit more from a non-serpentine draft, but with nearly 100 players off the board before the first pick in the DD phase, I believe the time savings would offset the modest advantage of a non-serpentine draft to the higher-drafting teams.

Let's do a normal serpentine or else an auto-draft. There are enough good cards out there for everybody.
