Pitcher Injured in DH League

Pitcher Injured in DH League

I know when you play the CD game a pitcher can get injured on a 6-12 roll - but thought it wasn't turned on here.
Did this change or was I just not paying attention?

I've had it happen many times. So it must be on...

If not on a 6-12 roll how exactly are pitchers supposed to be injured? Though to be more precise I think it is only an a 6-12 roll when the DH is at the plate.

A bigger question is how can a game which claims to simulate real life have no way of tying a pitcher's real life durability to injury risk here.

A hitter misses half a season and he gets an injury on 1-7 or something. A pitcher misses half the season they lose the ability to start every 4th day but otherwise are no different than the guy who only pitches 150 by coaches decision.

It works out ok because a pitcher injury is tough to adjust for with no minor league to call guys up from. But pitcher injuries are sufficiently rare they really stand out when they do happen.

My pitcher got injured when he was in the field - I've never had that happen, it wasn't when the DH was up
I've had pitchers injured, but never noticed in a DH league nor in the field

If only we know what options were checked...or could go to a magical website to check it...That is such a pie-in-the-sky vision, I know.

In 2 of my latest leagues, my reliever went down last night.
Me thinks there's been a HAL change instituted in the last few weeks.

My starter went down for 7 games in the fifth inning when their DH rolled a 6-12.

My further question is - I only have 5 starters - what if all of them were non-* starters, needing 4 days rest? As it is I have 3 three-day starters of the remaining 4, so I can work around it.

HAL will use one of your relievers, I think its the one with the longest R at the highest price.

correct, sort by endurance and if the same then higher priced one starts.
